I had the pleasure of partnering, consulting and offering creative services
to American Family Insurance for 20 years on countless programs
from direct-marketing to technology-based ordering platforms, magazines
and greeting cards. We truly became friends.
American Dreams was a quarterly magazine concept we pitched in theory,
a couple times over the years and while our contacts were in favor,
it took a new executive leadership team to see the value
and vision we had in mind, inviting us to bring it to fruition.
While it was my team's concept, and we provided the design, copy, project management, and most of the photography, we had great partners on client-side and met weekly for editorial planning,
story ideas and layout reviews.
We were told more than once, we were the
"funnest meeting all week" as well as we were
"the one meeting they actually looked forward to"
